Investing

Today it’s harder than ever to find investment opportunities that can offer returns above inflation. Building wealth is not easy, and when most folks struggle to save enough to make ends meet, let alone save for retirement, financial strategies sometimes need to look outside of saving accounts, money markets, and mutual funds and at least try to gain positive returns.

Real estate typically stands out as a stable, time-tested investment vehicle. Through down times in the market, real estate has proven to be a solution for building wealth, many times offering appreciation and unique tax benefits that can increase and solidify returns.

A tangible asset like real estate has an underlying value that many people and investors alike has grown to appreciate. Essentially, everybody needs a place to live, raise their families, and rest their head, so real estate is where it’s at, and not many other investment vehicles can say that.

As a Real Estate Investor myself, I have a passion for finding intrinsic value in tangible property that offers long-term gains.

I invest in single-family homes, duplexes, triplexes and multifamily in general. My bread and butter have been duplexes to date. Typically, they are easier to manage, low maintenance, and offer good returns. I only invest in the Midwest, specifically here in Ohio to date, where ROI’s are good and I can help manage them effectively.

I buy and hold, I do not flip, I do not wholesale or otherwise. I just look for good homes with good tenants in good areas with good schools in good communities.

I typically invest with local and regional banks who I know and trust, however, I am looking to purchase more properties and more doors, so if you’re looking to partner, I’d be interested in speaking with you.

My disclaimer is real estate is not for everyone, it’s typically a safe investment and I do due plenty of diligence, but returns are never guaranteed.
